What support is available for carers?

Alzheimer’s Society: UK Charity that campaigns for change, funds research, and supports people living with dementia

Link Age Southwark: Provides volunteer support to combat loneliness and isolation in the borough of Southwark through befriending and social groups

Coach4Care at St Christopher’s: Initiative training ex-carers to become coaches for current carers looking after someone with a life-limiting illness

Healthwatch Southwark: part of Community Southwark, Healthwatch Southwark takes local people’s experiences of health and care services in order to drive improvement

Southwark Carers: Advice and support to enable, empower and enrich the lives of carers

Southwark Pensioner’s Centre (SPC): Supporting older people in the borough to live independent and active lives

South London Cares: Community network of young professionals and older people living in the community helping one another out in our rapidly changing city
