Benjamin Rice’s large scale Vertical Landscapes are made up of multiple separate images, combined seamlessly to create the illusion of gazing out of a window. They are inspired by the characteristics the 17th century Flemish painters, where everything is in focus.

Alan Marsh likes to look in the most unlikely places for signs of life. He has spent most of his life photographing food and drinks for commercial purposes and now uses his experience and expertise to investigate plant matter which has been transformed by the passage of time; purely for his own pleasure…and hopefully for yours too. Here he observes the hidden world found within the compost on his allotment garden and has created a series of still-life images to share what he has discovered.

Keith’s work is often minimal in style and seeks out marginal, hinterland spaces, often ‘full of absence’, exploring quiet insignificant moments and the haphazard hand of the human footprint and traces of what has gone before. Within these peripheral places he looks at the interaction of nature and human intervention in what he regards as a symbiotic relationship.

Whether it’s figures, flowers or landscapes, Nicholas’ paintings present natural, uncluttered images that ‘glow’ with reflected light. In his carefully crafted compositions, his work is designed to breathe an air of tranquillity in a restless and uncertain world.
