This free online workshop for parents and babies will share how communication and play can support your baby's development.

About this Event

How can you support your baby's development through communication and play? Jennifer Warwick, a Speech and Language Therapist, will lead this online workshop on language development in babies under 1 year old. This will be a practical session with theory and tips to support your baby.

The workshop will focus on typical development and how to develop communication and play in babies up to 12 months.

The session is open to parents and babies. The part of the session will last 1 hour, with the option to stay for questions during the last 30 mins.

About the workshop leader:

Jennifer trained as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2003. Since qualifying she has worked across a range of health, education and charity contexts providing assessment and intervention for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders and complex communication needs. Jennifer works collaboratively with parents and educators to support and empower them in developing communication and interaction skills in children and young people. She is an experienced trainer and has designed and delivered a wide range of training packages for schools and parents.
