Play to Belong Drama Workshop - 11.30 to 12.30
Improvisation Games for Connection, Confidence and Expression.
Faisal Dacosta will lead the Play to Belong Drama Workshop, a unique drama-based session designed for young people aged 9 to 15 who are neurodivergent or socially anxious.
Faisal is a multidisciplinary creative, EOTAS mentor and experienced SEN learning coach. He brings a rich background in acting (CBBC, BBC, Apple TV, FilmNation) and education, having collaborated with Southwark Local Authority to build EOTAS systems and currently mentoring multiple families through tailored one-to-one SEN support. His approach blends creativity, structure and deep individual care, helping each young person feel seen, safe and empowered.
This workshop uses playful improv games like Mafia, gibberish theatre and storytelling to create connection, boost confidence and gently build self-expression. There is no pressure to perform, just space to play, talk, laugh and belong.
