skynews-windrush-uk_4342657.jpg

The Windrush Scandal in the UK set off a disastrous chain of mental blows upon members of the Windrush Generation, which have largely been ignored within the overall Human Rights abuses being discussed.

This event aims to highlight and discuss the mental plight of the victims and wider society in which they live.

We will have a panel of contributors, including David Neita (the Poetry Lawyer) Helen Hayes (MP for Dulwich and West Norwood,) Ms Deborah Best (Solicitor Mental Health Department Needham Poulier) and Mr Chinyere Inyama (Coroner) talking on the subject and participants will be invited to discuss ideas around healing and restoration within the context of the Windrush Scandal.

Tickets are free, but please register your place here.

Doors open at 7, with the panel discussion starting at 7:30.
