About this event

✔ £ 130.00 for full course

✔ Includes 6 live online sessions, full resources and home practices.

✔ Starts 20th October 7pm - 8.30pm

✔ Sessions every Thursday evening

Mindfulness has been shown to reduce stress, increase emotional resilience, promote a genuine sense of joy and increase a sense of calm to cope with life’s up’s and down’s.

Self Compassion is the key to building a better relationship with ourselves, caring for ourselves in a supportive way - letting go of negative self talk and perfectionism.

Over six weeks we will explore together a variety of Mindfulness practices, building on skills each week. There will be time to listen, share & practice together with resources each week to take home to develop at your own pace.

Mindfulness is a way of staying in the moment and developing a kind and non-judgemental awareness to ourselves and our surroundings. It helps us see clearly what is going on in our lives. It is not about trying to change the way things are but about accepting things as they are - the pleasant and the unpleasant - and being able to respond to life's ups and downs with greater freedom. It supports a re-connection between mind and body.

This course is helpful for those suffering from stress associated with work, family, health or relationships. Through guided meditation, group discussion and supported home practice you will be introduced to several simple yet powerful mindfulness practices with self-compassion the consistent theme. Participants will gain insights from psychology and neuroscience and explore the obstacles faced while establishing a mindfulness practice.

About the speaker

Hi all I'm Tracy Douthwaite, founder of Way To Wellbeing

I have been practicing mindfulness and self compassion for over 10 years and used the skills developed as a basis for many of my wellbeing courses.

Like everyone, I have experienced challenging periods in my life. I have found using a self compassionate response and taking time to sit with pain and difficulties has changed my relationship with myself and others.

I'm really looking forward to working with you on this journey, I believe we all have the capacity to make changes that support us to lead the life we choose

Alongside my personal experience, I have extensive professional experience, having worked for 30 years in the mental health & wellbeing field

I feel passionate that we can all lead happier, healthier lives.
