SANE Mental Health Workshop

SANE workshop img.png

SANE’s unique awareness workshop aims to tackle common educational gaps in mental health head on through informal discussion and interactive exercises. Attendees explore how to define the term ‘mental health’ in the context of today’s society, and the ways in which the social and symptomatic reality of mental illness is skewed by the stigma that surrounds them.

This workshop will include discussion and exercises on:

·      What is mental health?

·      Depression

·      Anxiety Disorders

·      Psychosis, Bipolar Disorders and Schizophrenia

SANE does a fantastic job of explaining mental health in terms of experiences that everyone can relate to’

‘I thought I was so clued up but learnt so much’

This workshop is suitable for people aged 12+ and will be relevant for those with no or little prior knowledge of mental health as well as those wishing to expand their understanding.

Please enter a minimum donation of £1 upon booking; this money will go to SANE charity. If making this donation is an issue, please email us at [email protected] and we will add you to the event for free.
