A look at the women who supported the establishment and running of London’s Foundling Hospital from 1739, currently hosting an exhibition of the same name.  We will also explore Tate Britain’s focus exhibition on Angelica Kauffman, one of only two women founding members of the Royal Academy.  Lecture by Rosalind Whyte, an accredited Arts Society lecturer and guide and lecturer at Tate and the Royal Academy.
