Make a Film in a Weekend

2 DAYS - 1 CREW - 1 FILM PREMIER

After the successful launch of ‘make a film in a weekend’ course last year, the intense & knowledge packed 2-day film making weekend is back! Aimed at people aged 15-20 who want to find their feet in the world of film. Open to all experience levels!

From story generation through to editing film, 10 participants will have the opportunity to work collaboratively alongside a professional director to create a short film culminating with a cinema screening, award ceremony and celebratory meal. The course will run from 10-6pm both days.

Separate editing workshop will be held free of charge – date and time TBC

Introducing the Team:

Dan Robb - Dan's worked extensively in film and TV industry for over 15 years, his attention to details and expert knowledge could be beneficially for any curious film maker.

James Broadley – graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama from the Acting with collaborative and has worked extensively with The National Youth Theatre. James’ focuses on the production side and ensures everyone knows what they are doing!

Tickets

The £30 cost of the weekend includes lunch and refreshments.

For members of the National Youth Theatre there is a 30% discount.
