Success in GCSE Science for Dyslexics

Dr Susie Nyman is returning to Bell House to present her unique multi sensory style of teaching to help dyslexic learners in their GCSE science. Her lively presentation will be based on over 25 years’ experience as a teacher and curriculum manager at The Sixth Form College, Farnborough and in Curriculum Support at an Independent School in South Oxfordshire.

She is the author of ‘The Multi-sensory Toolkit’ and ‘How to become a Grade Riser’ both published by Oaka Books. Additionally, Susie has been recently commissioned by the same publisher to write GCSE Biology topic booklets. The latest in the series ‘Cells and Tissues’ will be published soon. As an OCR moderator and CPD trainer, she will provide some useful insights into how dyslexic students can effectively decode and answer exam questions.

This event is free although we would encourage a donation of £5. This will go towards our bursaries for supporting dyslexic learners. Thank you.
