Kids’ Screen Print Workshop

Children’s screen printing workshop at Bell House.

In this hands-on and exciting screen-printing workshop for kids, we are taking inspiration from pop artist, Andy Warhol.

We will start the workshop with a series of experimental drawing activities taking inspiration from the artist’s work. We will then make our own paper stencils, ready for screen printing onto fabric and t- shirts.

In Andy Warhol’s early career he was a commercial designer and illustrator in the1950’s, he used objects and insects as a source of inspiration for his textiles, such as shoes, butterflies and flowers.

This is an up-cycling screen-printing workshop, please bring your own vests, t-shirts, jumpers, tote bags, tea- towel or even socks from home, avoid buying anything new!

This workshop is suitable for children aged 7–12 years, everyone welcome.
