Here's your chance to start putting it into writing with award-winning drama producer Peter Ansorge, former Head of Drama at Channel 4, whose successes include 'A Very British Coup', 'The Politician's Wife' and 'The Camomile Lawn.' Peter currently teaches screenwriting at the National Film & TV School. Many of his student writers take his courses with little or no previous experience of writing professionally. About the Course

The three Saturdays will include writing the first 30 pages of a script. It can be a feature film, TV pilot or a short.

On the first week, the course will begin with a discussion on what makes great screenwriting. Clips will be shown. The class will then talk about the script they want to develop. You'll write the first 10-15 pages as homework to be read out and discussed with the class on the second week. After some rewriting, you’ll write the next 10-15 pages for reading out to the class on the final week. The atmosphere will be that of a professional Writers Room where you'll support each others' projects positively with Peter leading and advising.
