Decoupage is a decorative art form that has a rich history dating back to the 12th century and involves using a variety of cut papers and glue to enhance objects such as furniture, boxes, frames and more.
Decoupage is a delightful, versatile and truly absorbing medium – no experience is necessary for this, and you will be amazed at how easily you can create a unique and personalised work of art.
In this class you will be given a small wooden box to transform.
All materials plus refreshments are provided in this fun and friendly class – all you need to bring is your creativity (and an apron!)
Tickets are £35 per person.
About the Artists/Workshop Leader:
The session will be run by Sarah Wetherall, a local artist who has many years of experience running art workshops, activities and events for a range of diverse groups of all ages. She worked at Dulwich Picture Gallery for over 10 years – during her time there she developed a particular interest in the link between creativity, health and well-being. This lies at the heart of all her classes.
