We welcome you to explore our garden in the heart of Dulwich.

The wonderful three-acre site, designed and maintained entirely by volunteers, comprises three large gardens with a variety of features for visitors to enjoy and a range of different habitats for wildlife.

Visitors enter the Walled Garden through the newly landscaped dry garden; planting begins in Spring 2026.  There are raised beds for organically grown fruit, vegetables and herbs, companion planting, and flowers for cutting.  A meadow area and new fruit trees lead onto the compost area.  Making good compost is so important in gardens and Bell House is no exception, we aim to keep as much green waste on site as possible.

The tranquil House Garden has many points of interest, including large beds for pollinators which provide colour from Spring until late Autumn and interesting forms through the winter.  The rear of this garden is wooded, providing undisturbed areas for wildlife.  Finally, visitors reach Pickwick Garden, our Polytunnel and nursery plant area which help us in our commitment to garden sustainably.

Each month we have plants for sale, propagated and grown on site.  Take a moment to sit and relax with a tea or coffee from our refreshment stall and visit stalls or drop-in sessions run by the Creative Groups at Bell House.

The garden at Bell House is a true hidden gem, and we look forward to welcoming you throughout the seasons.
