Join us for a varied programme of classical and festive music, centred around the saxophone playing of Denis Patrickson, a classical musician known for his emotional interpretations. The programme includes music by Tchaikovsky, Cimarosa, Schubert, Gounod, Sibelius, Piazzolla and Leroy Anderson, alongside a selection of traditional festive music.

For this programme, Denis has also written his own jazzy arrangements of traditional festive music, bringing a different sound and energy to familiar Christmas favourites. 

The saxophone may not be the instrument most people associate with Christmas, but that is exactly what makes this programme different. Combined with the piano, it brings a fresh perspective to familiar music and creates an interesting and varied concert for the festive season.
