Throwing on the Wheel, intermediate, with Birgit Pohl - 6-week course

Cost:

£225 for six 2-hour sessions.

Available dates:

Courses are on a Monday evening and last for 6 weeks. 

  • Monday, 1st September - 6th October, 6.30 - 8.30 pm

During the weekly 2-hour sessions:

  • This course is for intermediate level students who would like to improve their throwing skills and work on specific shapes.

  • Students should be comfortable centering 1kg of clay and be able to pull up walls evenly.

  • You will also improve your skills in finishing and glazing your pots.

    Please contact us if you're unsure if this course is right for you. NB If you are a less experienced potter then you might consider the all levels course available on Monday afternoons

  • You can keep up to six pots which will be fired for you at the end of this course.

  • If you wish to make more than six pieces you might consider also enrolling in the untutored sessions on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings.

  • The cost of all materials and firings are included in your course fee.

Please note:

  • This course is for adults, aged 18 and over.

  • Throwing on the wheel can be a messy business and aprons will not be provided. Please wear appropriate clothing.
