Learn the basics of hand-building with clay
This 2-hour workshop is for beginners who would like to have a first go at making a vessel from clay slabs.
You will roll out slabs of clay and press patterns into the soft clay.
You will learn how to shape your slabs into a cylinder and add a base to form a vessel.
We will glaze and fire your finished piece for you.
The cost of all materials and firing are included in the course fee.
This session is cross-generational: 11-17 year olds plus a participating adult. NB You will need to purchase two tickets - one for the teen, one for the adult.
