Using Assistive Technology and AI to support the Dyslexic Learner

  • Bell House Dulwich 27 College Rd England, SE21 7BG United Kingdom (map)

This workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of assistive technology and artificial intelligence (AI) and how they can be powerful tools to support your dyslexic child's learning journey. This is still a new area for many parents, so we'll explore user-friendly technologies like text-to-speech for reading support, speech-to-text for writing, and organizational apps to help with focus. You'll also discover how AI-powered tools can offer personalized learning experiences and identify areas where your child might need extra support.

The session will provide practical demonstrations and guidance, empowering you with the knowledge and confidence to effectively use these technologies at home to boost your child's confidence and academic success.

Anne will be using Google and Apple as her platforms. Please note that this is suitable for parents of dyslexic children aged 10 and over.

This event is free but spaces are limited, please reserve your spot below. It will be held in-person at Bell House.
